"The World History Workshop,” a UC Multi-Campus Research Group

The Winter 2008 conference of the World History Workshop U.C. Multi-Campus Research Group will take place at UC Santa Cruz. The theme of the conference is “Consumption in World History.” More information soon.

2007 World History Association Annual Meeting

Eight current and former UCSC world history graduate students presented papers at the 2007 annual meeting of the World History Association on the theme of social biography and world history.

Kelly Feinstein, a third year UCSC history graduate student won the second prize in a national competition for the 2005 best graduate student paper in world history sponsored by the Southeast World History Association for her website, “Beaver Hats in World History.”
