The University of California World History Workshop Multi-Campus Research Group (MRG) is funded by the U.C. President’s Office to encourage the development of world history as a research field. It sponsors quarterly conferences for faculty and graduate students, as well as a dissertation writer’s workshop. The World History Workshop is headed by Kenneth Pomeranz (History, UCI) and is based at UCI. See its website for activities and members. http://ucworldhistory.ucr.edu/
World History For Us All: WHFUA will offer an on-line model curriculum for world history in middle schools and high schools. It is the fruit of a three year collaboration of university faculty and master teachers of world history, and was funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities and the Ahmanson Foundation.
